Planning ME time

It’s amazing what you can achieve with planning your day and getting up before sunrise.

People ask me how I have the time to work, run 2 x businesses, blog, gym and whatever else achieved in a day.

Here’s what today looked like (well prepared and no epic failures):

  • 5.00 am – Gym x 1 hour (Me time)
  • 6.00 am – Sunrise meditate x 15 mins (Me time)
  • 6.45 am – Get ready for work, eat breakfast and listen to audio book x 1 hour
  • 7.45 am – Write a blog on the bus to work (use my phone notes for journaling on the move)
  • 8.30 am – Arrive at work and prepare to run a workshop
  • 9.30 am – Run a 4-hour workshop (part 1)
  • 12.30 am – Meditate x 10 mins before lunch (Me time)
  • 12.45 pm – Lunch on the harbour bench x 15 mins
  • 1 pm – LinkedIn networking / Respond to emails & bookings x 30 mins
  • 1.30 pm – Run workshop x 4 hours (part 2)
  • 5 pm – Bus home (relax, observe & be mindful of people around me)
  • 6 pm – Yoga x 1 hour (Me time)
  • 7.15 pm – Get home & shower
  • 7.45 pm – Make dinner (and lunch for the next day) &  listen 1 hour of audiobook
  • 9 pm – Meditate x 15 mins & gratitude journal (Me time)
  • 9.30 / 10 pm –  Bed time
6.5/7 hours sleep is more than enough if you de-clutter your mind, prepare, unwind and you will sleep better.

People state they have no time to read, meditate, go to the gym, attend yoga and even eat a decent meal.

Planning your day and being mindful of every activity will bring your great structure, results and happiness.

The list mentions (Me time) which are moments of the day I have done something for myself. These things help me feel calm, centred and balanced and today fully satisfied with everything achieved that day.

Try planning your day with some (Me) time activities and see how better you feel and sleep.

Full Moon in the Sign of Taurus

3rd November Full Moon in the earth sign of Taurus is going to be showering all of us with abundance, making it one of the most magical Moon’s of 2017.

From the beginning of the year, we have all been guided to start a new chapter. We have all been called upon in different ways to break free of old patterns and start something new.

November is already a power month seeing as it holds the vibration of 11.

11 is a sacred number in numerology as it represents rebirth and higher consciousness. It is also the number associated with angels – You might see 11.11 frequently for example.

One month ago on my 28th birthday during meditation, I had a vision and calling to start a new business (my second business of 2017) and make this the year the one that changes my life.

Energy pumped through me and staying awake spent most of the night writing, brainstorming and created a whole new business and website.

On the 1st of the 11th month (November) my second website was finished and business details being finalised.

It’s amazing what you can achieve in less than a month with full focus and energy on your goal. Moving forward with full confidence and breaking fear that previously held me back.

If you have a business idea you are looking to get off the ground, this Full Moon will also be supporting you, so make a plan and start taking action.

Use the energy of the November Full Moon to rise up and shed all the fears that hold you back from living the life you want. Use this energy to push past any boundaries or barriers that you have created so you can start making steps forward.

November is going to be MY month & make it YOURS!

Your Body Listens

Your Body Listens

Girls, I don’t know about you but every month I over think my monthly cycle. I’m either dreading it or waiting on it.

Lately, I’ve been looking at my calendar, highlighting important events and marking when my flow might fall on awkward dates where I might want to wear a tight white dress, go camping or wear a bikini and swim.

Fortunately, my flow isn’t heavy so doesn’t affect or stop me from doing activities. However, I do empathise with friends and women who struggle with very heavy flow and crippling period pains.

It can be a dreaded time for us, without mentioning the ‘mood’ swings leaving our partners, colleagues or even the postman looks at us a funny way, making us want to scream or cry. The struggle is real for us and them!

Getting into an annoying habit of waiting on my period has got me into a routine of overthinking and so it seems to be the more I overthink the more it keeps me waiting. The more I want it to come on a specific date the longer it makes me wait.

What I’ve realised from this is that I’m not allowing and accepting it to flow when it should or being confident that it will come altogether (law of attraction). I’m more in a negative mindset of thinking ‘oh it’s not going to come as planned, it’s going to be that weekend I want to wear that white outfit to the races’ And guess what, sure enough, it’s out of sync.

Yesterday I had been waiting on my monthly flow for over two weeks and created all sorts of scenarios in my mind one being ‘I must be pregnant, right?’. I’m saying this knowing this is not possible, but you get the point, my mind was playing tricks.

So, what did I do? Surely enough I got a pregnancy test and of course, I wasn’t pregnant, but right after I relaxed and realised I was putting myself in a ‘stressed’ overthinking state of mind, my monthly flow arrived within the hour. This has happened not once, but twice in the last 3 months only confirming my theory that the body listens.

Another example of the body listening is in relation to negative self-talk. Everyday saying ‘I’m fat’ ‘I’m fat ‘I’m fat’ will result in the body and mind getting used to it and believing it, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. On the other hand, telling yourself you’re beautiful and a perfect weight will not only see your mindset improving but the body also. Trust me I’ve been there.

Negative self-talk doesn’t go away overnight but at least recognising you’re being destructive to yourself is a step in the right direction.

Thank you to my body and mind for challenging me and carrying me through each day.
